Banfield confirms that James went free to Everton!

James Rodriguez left free of Real Madrid to the Everton And not in exchange for the 25 million euros that the white club had received from the sale of the player to the English team. Last week the portal ‘recordings.com’ published that the Colombian player left the Madrid without him Everton paid the transfer and said information has been corroborated thanks to a statement from Banfield, the Argentine team James played for between 2008 and 2010 before making the jump to Porto, and that he had to collect a percentage of the transfer as training rights.

“Unfortunately for the pass of James Rodriguez of the Real Madrid to the Everton to Banfield no money is due. The transaction was made at no cost, as if it were a free player. The pertinent consultations have already been made to the two clubs involved and to the corresponding organizations. In all cases they confirmed to us that the club will not receive money through a solidarity mechanism ”, said the Treasurer of the institution. Ignacio Uzquiza.

“After knowing the news of the transfer of James Rodriguez from Real Madrid to Everton, and attentive to current FIFA regulations, the Banfield Athletic Club made the pertinent consultations to find out if it corresponded to him to collect money by means of solidarity mechanism ”, adds the statement.

“Despite the journalistic versions that indicated that the pass had a cost, a situation in which Banfield he was going to be benefited with a percentage of that sum for having contributed to the training of the player, this was not the case “, he regrets Banfield, whose disclosure calls into question the version of the Madrid, which never officially speaks of transfer figures but leaked that the player went to Everton in exchange for 25 million euros plus five in variables.
