Bad news for Rafa Benítez

Calvert-Lewin suffered a relapse in his injury and will continue to be out for several more weeks

The English forward, who scored 16 goals in the last Premier, has not played since August 28

Bad news for Rafa Benítez, Everton coach: his forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin suffered a relapse in his recovery from a quadriceps injury and will be out for several more weeks. This was announced by the Goodison Park club on Wednesday.

Calvert-Lewin, 24, who has not played since the Aug. 28 Premier game against Brighton, he also fractured a toe in September. In the last Premier the English international had a great performance and scored 16 goals

Everton informed that they will continue receiving treatment and in due course it will be announced when his reappearance may occur. Calvert-Lewin started the season on the right foot, scoring 3 goals in 3 games.

Richarlison has also been out at Everton due to a knee injury and Abdoulaye Doucouré will remain inactive for a long period due to foot problems. Everton, 8th in the Premier League with 14 points from 8 games, host Watford on Saturday in the English championship.
