Elche returned to training this Wednesday afternoon after a day of rest, in a session held behind closed doors, waiting for the club to complete the hiring of a new coach.
The team from Elche, which returns to competition next Monday against Osasuna in Pamplona, has already carried out two work sessions without a coach this week, since his previous coach, Fran Escribá, was fired after the defeat against Betis on the same Sunday afternoon.
The physical trainers of Elche, Manolo Sempere and Fidel Agulló, together with the medical staff, have been in charge of directing this session again and they will do it tomorrow, again behind closed doors.
The owner of Elche, the Argentine Christian Bragarnik, has open negotiations with several coaches, including Pablo Machín from Soria, currently in Saudi Arabia, who has become the main candidate for the bench in the last few hours.
