MADRID, 23 Ene. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The sports equipment brand Babolat has launched the new Pure Aero 98 racket, an updated version of the ‘Pure Aero’ model that it presented in August 2022 and which is designed for the hit with effect of some of its ambassadors such as the Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz.
With this racket, Babolat offers competitive tennis players the combination of spin and precision. This new model has been specially designed by Babolat for players who hit the ball soon after the bounce, in the rising phase.
Used on tour by Carlos Alcaraz, Holger Rune and Felix Auger-Aliassime, the Pure Aero 98 racket is the heaviest in the range at 305 grams.
However, its sieve size is slightly less. In fact, its name refers to its ’98 square inch’ size, which provides more precision than the standard 100 square inch sieve.
Although the string pattern of all Babolat Pure Aero racquets is 16×19, the Babolat Pure Aero 98 racquet features a denser pattern (16×20), which offers a little more control while maintaining spin.
The addition of flax fibers in the frame of the racket allows maximum filtering of vibrations for extreme sensations.
For its part, the aerodynamics of the frame increase the speed of the racquet head to generate greater spin.
The Babolat Pure Aero 98 racket, already available since last Thursday, can be purchased in pairs. Within the same pair, the rackets have a maximum weight difference of 1 gram to respond to the need for greater precision on the part of players.
