Australian Open 2021: summary and results today, February 17

WE HAVE CHAMPIONS IN WHEELCHAIR TOURNAMENTS!

We already have new Australian Open champions in wheelchair tournaments! In the female category, the first favorite, the Dutch Diede De Groot beat the second favorite, the Japanese Yui Kamiji, in a real match that ended 6-3, 6-7 (4) and 7-6 (10-4 in the super tie-break) after two hours and 20 minutes of the match.

In the men's category the title went to Belgian Joachim Gerard, who beat Briton Alfie Hewett in three sets by 6-0, 4-6 and 6-4.
