Australia has Federer

The Australian Open announced the List of players who will directly play the final draw and between them included veteran Swiss player Roger Federer (5) after the same tennis player explained that he still has to test his knee on a court in the interview given to the Swiss media Schweizer Illustrierte this Monday.

The Spanish representation will once again be led by Nadal, winner of the 2009 edition at Melbourne Park, who will be accompanied by his compatriots Roberto Bautista (13), Pablo Carreño (16), Albert Ramos (46), Alejandro Davidovich (52), Pablo Andújar (60), Feliciano López (64), Pedro Martínez (85) and Roberto Carballés (97). Fernando Verdasco, who has just become a father again, is missing from the Spanish payroll.
