Atlético de Madrid beat Granada CF (0-3) this Wednesday at Nuevo Los Cármenes to seal their pass to the ‘Final 4’ of the Copa de la Reina, with goals from Bárbara Latorre, Sheila García and Van Dongen.
The Madrid team ended the Nasrid dream, whose resistance was undermined just before the break with Latorre’s 0-1 draw. Atlético finished capturing their superiority in the restart against a team from the First Women’s Federation.
Manolo Cano’s men took possession of the ball and, in the local losses, the monologue brought more rojiblancos goals. Sheila García took advantage of one of those errors to give Atlético peace of mind with 0-2 in the 75th minute.
In the final stretch of the match, Banini controlled a corner kick to smash the ball into the crossbar and, after a mess inside the box, Van Dongen pushed to make it 3-0.
