Atlético and CAM send an aid bus to Warsaw

Atlético de Madrid has got down to work to try to collaborate with the families that are suffering the consequences of the armed conflict that is taking place in Ukraine and that has caused millions of displaced people.

As reported by the club through the Atlético de Madrid Foundation and in collaboration with the Community of Madridthe red-and-white first team bus has headed for Warsaw, the capital of Poland that hosts thousands of displaced Ukrainians, to deliver basic necessities made up of coats, blankets, shoes, personal hygiene products, diapers and non-perishable food that can serve as help for the civilian population that is having such a bad time. The mattress transport with humanitarian aid is scheduled to arrive in Warsaw next Wednesday.

After the delivery of material, About thirty refugees will be collected, who will travel to Madrid and will be received at the Isabel Zendal Hospital next Friday. The expedition, led by the rojiblanco vice president Anthony Alonsohas the presence of a medical team made up of Dr. Ignatius Pujol Varela and the nurse Eva Maria Lopez-Palacios, and with that of Israel Naveso, member of the Fire Department of the Community of Madrid.
