Athletic is preparing to experience the first Assembly of Commitment Members in its history in San Mamés. An assembly that will have a telematic nature, although it will also be possible to vote in person. The secretary of the board of directors Fernando San José and the general director of the club Jon Berasategi have explained today what will be the operation of this unique meeting.
“The expectations of the board are to carry out an economic situation, accounts and a budget according to the moment we live. You need to make an effort. We believe that very correct accounts are presented regarding the reality of what has happened and is going to happen ”, explained the aforementioned manager.
The assembly will take place on Sunday 27 of this month at 9.45 am in the first call and at 10 in the second. The members of the board and the Athletic staff will be physically in San Mamés. The rest will have to follow it online. The agenda includes eight items: Accounts, Budget, Animation tier, Projects and directive proposal, Economic and contracting control committee, Statute reform Commission, Proposals for partners and Questions and answers.
The assembly will be broadcast through two broadcasts: a first exclusive for delegates who want to intervene, vote and see those who participate and a second public (youtube athletic) in which only the members of the presidential table will be seen.
He club has planned that the assembly can be accessed through the exclusive platform www.batzarnagusia.athletic-club.eus entering ID and password. Password that will be sent to the delegate on December 23.
The turn of intervention will be carried out through the aforementioned platform. You will have to click on voting on the platform, you will be asked for access codes and password and you will receive a five-digit SMS, as in the bank. Once accessed there will be four virtual ballot boxes, one for each issue that is put to the vote. The voting session lasts 30 minutes each time you enter the section reserved for voting.
The delegates may vote from the constitution of the assembly and the polls will be open until the specific point is voted on. Voting in person in San Mamés, an option that is also contemplated, requires prior registration from December 18 to 22 Through email, the member service office and the Athletic office phone.
“Those who ask for a vote in person, the telematics will be canceled and those who vote telematically, the possibility of voting in person is disabled. If there are problems in the telematic vote, there will be resources to solve them on the fly ”, explained Berasategi. This Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., there will be a meeting with the delegates of a telematic nature that will serve as a rehearsal, voting on the sidelines.
Athletic hopes to have the results of the voting, which will close from the fifth point of the Assembly's agenda, around the round of questions and answers. “Athletic's compromisary member is very special and knows how to suffer like the club, like the board in the difficult moments in which we live. It is very sad for the club not to be able to count on the presence of the members, not to be able to have them in front of them ”, concluded San José.
