He Real Madrid closed the 2019-2020 season with revenues of 714.9 million euros, 5.6% less than in 2018-2019 and 13% lower than budgeted (€ 822.1 M), due to the impact of the COVID-19 in the sports and commercial activities of the club. The pandemic has led to a loss of revenue of 106 million euros, which has been partially offset by the savings of 16 million in costs associated with the development of these activities.
Likewise, the Board of Directors presents a budget for the 2020-2021 season of 616.8 million euros, 14% less compared to the closing of accounts last season and 25% less if the budget is taken into account. The figure is around that of the 2015-2016 season.
