Arteta has Bellerin

Mikel Arteta, Arsenal coach, has spoken about Bellerín’s contractual situation at a press conference. From his words, everything seems to indicate that he wants him to stay in the first team next season: “Any player with a contractual obligation with us, in both senses, is our player and is considered our player, so yes there is that possibility that it will return and we’d see how he could fit into our team.”

Bellerín arrived at Betis last summer on loan until June and without a purchase option. The player has found his site in Spain and he has been an important man in the best Betis in recent years. His intention is to stay at the club, to the point that he would reject other offers, as has been reported in recent days. But first, he must pass the Arsenal filter.

As reported by the Mirror, the London club would let him go for a figure close to ten million euros. To day of today, the accounts of the Betis do not go through his best moment. Obviously, qualifying for the Champions would fix the situation. Otherwise, it remains to be seen if the entity is capable of undertaking the operation.

Be that as it may, Bellerin’s contract ends in the summer of 2023 and his time at Arsenal seems exhausted. The entity has two options: get some revenue for him or take it for granted that he will leave for free, without even having a leading role next season at the Emirates. At the moment, Arteta has not rejected his continuity, much less, although he has not yet fit him into his project. but it is clear: “Yes, there is a possibility that he will return.”

The protagonist of these lines, meanwhile, feels good in Seville and would like to continue. This season, he has been the undisputed starter for Pellegrini, although Sabaly, once recovered from his physical problems, has snatched the position from him in important games such as the European tie against Eintracht Frankurt. Despite this, in the Cup final he played the 120 minutes and assisted Borja Iglesias in the only goal of his. Bellerin, before his most transcendental summer: Betis or close his stage at Arsenal.
