Arsenal access ‘Champions’ positions at the expense of West Ham

MADRID, 15 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Arsenal got into the positions that give access to the Champions League this Wednesday after beating West Ham United (1-0) in a direct duel for fourth place, a London derby resolved with goals from Gabriel Martinelli and Emile Smith Rowe, in a match belonging to matchday 17 of the Premier League.

The ‘Gunners’, who add three consecutive victories, continue to rise in the domestic tournament and this Wednesday they lowered the fumes to their neighbor. They had to wait for the second half, but Mikel Arteta’s pupils ended up finding their way to the goal. The clash between Burnley and Watford was postponed by a COVID-19 outbreak in the visiting team.
