Paco López: “We won the game, which is our obligation”

The president of Arosa SC, Manuel Abalo, assured this Thursday that his club will denounce a possible improper alignment of goalkeeper Adri López in Granada CF, during the match that faced both teams in the first round of the Copa del Rey and that ended with Granada victory by 0-3.
In an interview for ‘El Larguero’, a program on the SER network, Abalo confirmed his intentions. “Right now we practically have the appeal to send,” he said after learning that Adri López had played with the reserve team despite being 24 years old, when the regulations detail that footballers under 23 years of age must play in a non-professional competition.
“The truth is that they are things that we don’t like. But we have to defend the club, we have to defend the members, we have to defend the people, the region, and I think it is a welcome thing. As president, yes I don’t do that, they would surely throw me out of town,” said Abalo, alluding to Vilagarcía de Arousa’s support for his club.
“Since the break more or less, we began to see strange movements in the Granada managers. At the same time it was appearing on the radio, it was appearing everywhere and on social networks that there was improper alignment. The truth is that we do not comment nothing between the managers that we had next to them, but there were movements, the phones were sent from here to there,” Abalo said.
“We didn’t talk to them at all because the game ended and I stayed in the box for a bit; then I went to our locker room to congratulate the players because, although we lost 0-3, the truth is that we competed very well.
