The Spanish defender Aritz Elustondo has renewed his contract with Real Sociedad until the end of the 2025-26 season, the San Sebastian entity confirmed this Sunday.
“Real Sociedad and Aritz Elustondo have reached an agreement to renew the contract that united both parties until the end of the 2025-26 season. An exemplary youth squad player, with grit and courage in every action, defending the colors of his heart”, the ‘txuri urdin’ club reported in a statement.
The 28-year-old central defender from Beasain was happy with the agreement. “It is appreciated, at this moment in which I am injured, that they value me in this way, I am very happy and I continue to fulfill my dreams at Real,” he declared with passion, he indicated.
“I always speak of the pride I feel and it’s been years in the first team. I’m very happy with the path I’ve been on and the importance I’ve gained in the group,” he said. “We have to enjoy this moment, give continuity to what has been achieved in recent years and continue in this dynamic of continuing to meet the objectives that we set for ourselves,” he added.
Elustondo has surpassed the barrier of 200 games this season with the Real Sociedad shirt, with which he has won the 2020 Copa del Rey.
