The former Finnish driver Ari Vatanen, world rally champion in 1981 and four-time winner of the Dakar Rally, will participate in the Hoznayo Festival Rally, which will be held from May 29 to 31, 2025, as confirmed this Tuesday by the organizers of the event.
“The Hoznayo Rally Festival is proud to announce the presence of a true legend of the world of competition: Ari Vatanen, world rally champion in 1981 and winner of the Dakar Rally on four occasions,” they said in a statement.
For the organization of the Cantabrian event, having the Finn “marks a historic moment for all motor fans, who will be able to enjoy in Hoznayo the closeness of one of the drivers who wrote in gold letters the most epic chapter in history of rallies”.
