Approved and failed: The ‘supersonic’ Machís gives Granada an extra life

1-Louis Maximian: Super Max made five stops and now has 112, the most in the First Division. Exciting duel with Iago Aspas. The Portuguese could not prevent the 0-1 but was at a high level.

10-Antonio Doors: The multipurpose came out as right back due to the absence of the sanctioned Quini. This mission limited his offensive projection by having Javi Galán in that position. He accidentally pushed Iago Aspas’s ball into the back of the net because he caught it on the run. Then he went on the attack. The arbitration record grants the goal to the celestial captain. A very serious match for the player from Almeria from Benahadux.

6-German: The wall of San Fernando saved a goal from Cervi under the sticks at 8′ An inopportune slip against Aspas almost cost the fat guys an upset on the brink of halftime. He multiplied at the back and hardly made any mistakes.

29-Sergio Barcia: Born in Vigo, the youth squad made his debut this season (he played last year against Real in San Sebastián) to alleviate the many casualties. It started somewhat tense and Santi Mina slipped away in a clear chance for 0-1. Serene soccer player with interesting details, he had a hard time with the Celta planes that entered him everywhere. He traded at 77′ for Gonalons.

3-Escudero. Earring from Brais, he occasionally met the brown of Aspas. He helped a lot on defense and threw (badly) a dangerous free kick at 49′. It was Granada’s second shot. He pushed a lot and tried his best. He missed that he went up his band and crossed. He played a good match.

5-Luis Milla: The spring wanted to govern the game and was attentive in recoveries and services. A very serious loss of the ball in the center of the field ended in a Celta goal. Later he pulled with claw and stripes and with his attempt to finish off with his heel he surely helped Machís’ center-shot to end in a goal. He has had better games.

Louis Milla.

18-Petrovic: The Serbian diesel wanted to improve previous performances. More of the same. Misplaced and getting in the way at times. He left a tremendous hole in his area and was almost always late for his destination. Bad game.

19-Montoro: The locomotive played as a midfielder. The coach dosed his game minutes due to his tight physical condition. He had little presence and was traded at 62′ for Machís.

24-Zuni: The Albanian spark alternated with Luis Suárez as a center forward, but it was not good at all. He missed his talent and some of his runs or assists. He was discreet pulling suspense.

35-Alex Collado: One of his functions was to control as far as possible the rises of Javi Galán, side followed by Barça. He moved on both sides and passed the midfielder after Montoro left. Dituro made a huge save at 87. As he always went from less to more. When he takes responsibility, he is more useful. Good player.

9-Luis Suarez: The fallow deer from Santa Marta had the first great opportunity at 39′. Dituro intercepted her. It wasn’t a good shot. The rest, nothing at all. Fireworks. Loneliness and careers without rhyme or reason. It still does not justify being the most expensive signing in the history of Granada. Suspense.

From the bench:

11-Darwin Machís: The supersonic jumped onto the field to give depth and unblock. Races and good centers to the area poorly managed by his teammates. At 92 ‘another of his great passes to the pot ended in 1-1. He should be a starter on this team, but it’s up to him.

23-Jorge Molina: The immortal came out at 77 ‘in search of epic. He came out very hot and got a yellow card. His presence puts opponents on edge and that’s why he’s also valuable.

4-Max Gonalons: The French helm, in a tight state due to injuries, reappeared two months later (his last game was on February 19). He brought serenity in moments of passion.

2-Santiago Arias. The Colombian right back had not played since December. He was correct. Disappointing season for the player on loan from Atlético de Madrid.

18-Arezo. The Uruguayan talent had the 1-1 in his head as soon as he left, at 82′. He was too excited but eager.

Aitor Karanka: Second game of the coach from Vitoria. This Granada is more orderly in defense, with lines closer together and in solidarity with each other. In attack he had less presence and it cost him more. He looked for solutions and made the appropriate changes with the score against him. His team has four lives left.
