Anti-violence seeks to identify the fans who insulted Vinicius and Mayra Ramírez

The Ceuta-FC Barcelona Copa del Rey declared high risk

MADRID, 16 Ene. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Commission against Violence, Racism, Xenophobia and Intolerance in Sport is working to identify the fans who used racist insults against the Real Madrid player Vinicius Júnior in the LaLiga Santander match in Valladolid, and the Levante player Mayra Ramírez in the Copa de la Reina against Alhama.

As reported by said commission after the meeting held this Monday at the Higher Sports Council (CSD), its members have analyzed the racist insults uttered by a group of fans against Vinicius when he was substituted in the Valladolid-Real Madrid match, played on 30 December in Nuevo Zorrilla.

Likewise, they have studied the insults uttered against the Colombian player of Levante UD Mayra Ramírez in the match against Alhama, played on January 11, in the Copa de SM La Reina.

In both cases, the State Security Corps and Forces, in “close collaboration” with the respective clubs, are gathering the “necessary information” to identify the perpetrators of said racist insults and raise the corresponding sanction proposals.

In a statement, the members of the permanent commission have unanimously expressed their “absolute rejection of this type of behavior and have reiterated their commitment to banish racist and xenophobic expressions and behavior from the field of football and sport in general.”

On the other hand, Antiviolencia has declared the match between AD Ceuta and FC Barcelona, corresponding to the round of 16 of the Copa del Rey, to be a high-risk match, which will be played in the Autonomous City this coming Thursday, January 19.

Among the Anti-Violence sanction proposals, the fines of 3,001 euros to RCD Mallorca, Burgos, Cádiz, Rayo Vallecano, Valencia and the organizer of the Iraq-Ecuador friendly at the Cívitas Metropolitano for deficiencies in access control measures, as well as another for the same amount and the prohibition of access to sports venues for six months to each of the 64 fans identified for participating in a fight on the occasion of the Burgos-Zaragoza match on November 27.
