Ansu Fati's 'escape'

Ansu Fati had surgery on May 6 in Porto under the supervision of the surgeon of the Portuguese football team, José Carlos Noronha, a personal friend of Jorge Mendes, the new agent of the young Blaugrana forward, who decided to catch the bull by the horns and directly take charge of finding a solution, after seeing that his Client had undergone surgery up to three times without major advances in his knee.

Since that May 6, little news has spread from Ansu Fati. Just a picture of you resting on a terrace overlooking the sea and with his left leg fully bandaged, with a clearly hopeful message, “Positive mentality”, and another one posted by a friend of his who plays for Benfica B, Umaro Embaló, on social networks.

As AS has learned, the player continues to make his recovery in Portugal and plans to travel to Madrid in the next few days to continue his rehabilitation. And it is that his roadmap does not contemplate for now returning to the Ciutat Esportiva but that in the short term he will continue to recover away from the club's medical services.

In fact, his intention is to put himself in the hands of the physiotherapist of the Spanish team, Raúl Martínez, to continue his work on the rehabilitation of the meniscus. Hence, the player traveled to the Spanish capital a few days ago to start working on the following rehabilitation schedule.

The choice of Fati is not trivial: Raúl Martínez is one of the most recognized physios in Spain, a close friend of Carles Puyol and who already had a very important role in the recovery of Andrés Iniesta.

What's more, he will not be the only FC Barcelona player who goes through the consultation of the renowned physiotherapist: Sergi Roberto also traveled to Madrid a few days ago to begin treatment with Martínez.

It is clear that, in the case of Fati, the player wants to make a clean slate. And if that means completing a voluntary 'exile' of several months, he will do it without any qualms. His main objective is to start the preseason with the rest of his teammates and under that challenge on the horizon he will put all his effort and effort.
