Ansu Fati: “I wish I would stay at Barça all my life”

Ansu Fati represents today the great hope of Barcelona for the future in the short, medium and long term. With a team that if its financial situation is not resolved urgently, it will not be able to sign or register, the recovery of the Bissau striker is guessed as the best asset of the Barcelona fans.

The young canterano is for the work of rowing in favor of the blaugrana interests after two very complicated seasons due to injuries. In an interview broadcast by Canal + France, the striker currently concentrated with the Spanish team spoke about his future.

“Is PSG interested in signing me? The truth is that I don’t know. These are things that my agent and my parents have. From the beginning of everything I told my agent and my father what my goal was, which was to stay at the club In my head I have it clear, yes, hopefully I can do my whole career here”he claimed.

The optimism for the next season on the part of the player is total despite confessing how hard these last two years have been: “It has been difficult because injuries for a player are the worst. There are much worse situations: having a sick parent or having poor health. This can be cured and unfortunately I already experienced it when I was 13 years old. I broke my tibia and fibula, I was small and I thought I would never play again. You think it’s over, everything is gone. I had another injury to the tibia and at the end of everything you learn. Patience is key.”

Ansu’s idea is to repeat his explosion when he reached the first team, when he began to break all the records within his reach: “I’m happy to have those marks. I don’t even think about all the records I’ve broken. They have always told me after games. ‘Ansu you have to come to do an interview because you’ve broken the record for such’, it’s nice”.

Regarding his referents, Ansu acknowledged that he is focused on “Drogba’s movements, how he moves in the area. Drogba did very well with his body. Cristiano was very professional, everything. Leo who is incredible and Neymar who plays fantasy on the pitch. What I like most about Mbappé is that he has the goal in his head. It’s his goal.”

Speaking of Messi, Ansu explains that “Leo has given a lot to Barça and seeing him at another club, being a culé, nobody likes him. I hope everything goes well for him. With Leo’s departure I had another number which was ’17’. The club called me and told me the proposal they had, that they wanted to give me that number. The club told me that the captains accepted him and for me it is an honor. If you’re at Barça you have to be prepared for everything.”
