Ansu Fati decides not to undergo surgery

Ansu Fati (19 years old) prefers not to have surgery. It is the position that the player maintains after the meeting he had with his family with the medical services of the FC Barcelona this noon. The soccer player does not want to go through the operating room again and for this reason he considers that it is better to carry out a conservative treatment to heal his injury to the proximal tendon of the left biceps femoris.

The Barça striker suffered a lot with his knee injury, for which he underwent surgery on several occasions, and he prefers not to undergo surgery again. In this sense, professionals who have treated him lately also prefer that he undergo conservative treatment and avoid the operating table.

With a non-invasive treatment, the recovery of Ansu It will be shorter in time than if it were operated, but the club’s medical services estimate that an operation would be safer to solve the problem more effectively.

After the meeting held this morning, the club still needs to officially communicate the footballer’s decision and the definitive treatment to be followed to solve his injury.
