Ansu Fati, best U-20 in the world for L'Equipe

The prestigious French newspaper L'Equipe has published this Friday a list of the 50 best footballers aged twenty or under. That is, those born from 2001 onwards. The classification is led by Ansu Fati, who has had a total impact on the Barcelona first team, before a knee injury took him off the pitch. Despite his physical problems, the newspaper considers him the best of his generation and trusts that on his return to the pitch he will once again be one of the sensations of the championship.

The podium is completed by two other pearls of world football: Eduardo Camavinga and Ryan Gravenberch. The former has had a small drop in performance this season, although he has already made his debut with the French senior team, he has scored with it and is indisputable in the core of Rennes. Although his name has lost media power in recent weeks, he is still in the orbit of major clubs on the European continent. Among them, Real Madrid.

The fourth position is reserved for Pedri. The canary already dominated in the Unión Deportiva Las Palmas, but such performance was not expected in Barcelona. His stripes on the pitch and his connection with Leo Messi have led him to go from being practically a stranger to having his place guaranteed in the starting eleven of Barça. In addition, he is in Luis Enrique's pools to be part of the Eurocup list, despite not having yet turned 20.

Rodrygo falls to position 32

Of the most striking thing on the L'Equipe list is the position of Rodrygo Goes. The Brazilian has gradually entered Zinedine Zidane's team and even scored a hat-trick in the Champions League. When Asensio and Hazard were not at their peak, it was a regular in Valdebebas's band. The injuries have cut his evolution somewhat, but there are many expectations placed on his figure. The French newspaper, on the contrary, considers it the 32nd of its particular classification.

Ahead of the madridista, there is another footballer who is highly recognized by the Spanish public: Yunus Musah. The lack of signings and the losses that Valencia has had have led Javi Gracia to give opportunities to the talented and cheeky winger. That has led L'Equipe to place him in 19th place. The other Spaniard in the ranking is Ander Barrenetxea, Real Sociedad attacker, who falls to 39th place.

Dortmund sweeps

Although Barça has two men in the Top 4, Dortmund is not far behind either. Giovanni Reyna and Jude Bellingham they occupy the fifth and sixth places respectively. Close the Top 10, Yari Verschaeren (Anderlecht), Mason Greenwood (United), Bukayo Saka (Arsenal) and Myron Boadu (AZ). There is still one more place reserved for a Borussia player: Youssoufa Moukoko. Born in 2004, he is the youngest player on the entire table produced by L'Equipe. He has broken records for precocity in the Bundesliga and Haaland considers him to be much better than him at his age. Your level will only be marked by time.
