Another mess in France for the ultras

French football is making headlines this season more for the scandals caused by the ultras of the teams that for football reasons. The last victim was Saint-Étienne, whose ultras delayed the start of the game against Angers for an hour by throwing flares onto the pitch to request the resignation of their coach, Claude Puel.

The historic Frenchman, who to date remains the team with the most Ligue 1 (10 to 9 for PSG), is currently bottom-line in Ligue 1 and his fans have had enough of the coach, who did not want to resign and, a priori, was going to sit today against Angers in the match that opened day 11 of Ligue 1.

The players had to immediately leave the field of play and went to the changing room tunnel. A of the two goals suffered damage when a part of it was pierced. The game, which was to start at 9:00 p.m., started an hour later.
