Angeliño will play on loan at Hoffenheim

MADRID, 8 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Spanish defender José Ángel Esmorís ‘Angeliño’ will play next season at Hoffenheim, after the Sinsheim club reached an agreement with RB Leipzig for his loan, the two Bundesliga clubs reported on Monday.

“The fact that a player of this level chooses Hoffenheim with full conviction is something special and shows the kind of status we have earned,” Hoffenheim sporting director Alexander Rosen said in a club statement.

The 25-year-old from Coristanco (A Coruña) has played three seasons at Leipzig, with whom he has played 100 games and scored 12 goals. “Three weeks ago he was not expected to wear the Hoffenheim shirt. Now I’m here and I’m really looking forward to it,” Angeliño said.
