Benedict 'Bolao'He has died at the age of 85, as confirmed by the Balearic club this Saturday on their social networks.

Bolao (Bilbao, 1935), was a key element in the two promotions to the First Division won by the vermilion since their arrival in Palma from Badajoz in 1960.

He retired from football at the age of 31, settled on the island and participated very actively in the Veterans Association of the Majorca.

Tribute to Almería

It is likely that the Mallorcan team will pay tribute to Bolao in the game that this Sunday (4:00 p.m.) will play against the Almeria at the Visit Mallorca Estadi.
