BARCELONA, 3 Ene. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The agent of FC Barcelona footballer Dani Olmo, the Croatian Andy Bara, assures that his client’s only option is to continue in Barcelona, despite not being registered at the moment and that he would not be able to play the remainder of the season, and added that He trusts that the Blaugrana entity will find a solution to the problem.
“We are not negotiating with any club. Dani is a Barcelona player and wants to be a Barcelona player. He has made a great effort in his life to be at Barcelona. It was his wish for a long time. Barcelona is the first and last option “Dani, his father, his family and I did not think about other options,” Bara said in statements to ‘Givemesport’ reported by Europa Press.
Olmo, registered for the first part of the season in place of the long-term injured Andreas Christensen, has been dropped by LaLiga but the Blaugrana club is confident of being able to register him again, despite the fact that the judicial process – which previously worked in the ‘Gavi case’– denied him the precautionary measure to be able to register the one from Terrassa and Pau Víctor, in the same situation.
“It is a stressful situation for Dani as it would be for any other player. But he is a great player and person, he tries to be calm. Of course, Dani is a winner and he loves playing the games, not watching them!”, acknowledged the agent from Olmo.
“Of course the best players are when they are free, but emotions also matter. We have never made a professional decision for money. Dani plays football because he loves it, he has made a great effort to be at Barcelona. I am also happy to have Dani at Barcelona, he is one of the best players in the world in one of the biggest clubs in the world,” Bara alleged.
Furthermore, he assured that he “respects” the Blaugrana president, Joan Laporta, and Deco, Blaugrana football director. “They made a great effort to bring Dani last summer. We like their project, it is a great project for the future, one of the best in the world in the coming years. We fully believe that Barcelona will win all the titles in the future, as did during the Messi era. The player, the family, me. We all wanted Dani to be at Barcelona,” he reiterated.
In this sense, it is committed to a final solution favorable to all. “I think Barcelona will finalize everything and make it a reality. The League should help them, instead of this information that Dani is not available for the national team, but I am sure that he will be at Barça for many years. He is happy at the club and Dani wants to be there,” he said.
