Andrés Fernández opens the Huesca market

Andrés Fernández returns to the goal that he launched into professional football. Ten seasons ago a young goalkeeper arrived from Osasuna surprised locals and strangers with a spectacular season in which he was the goal less thrashed in the category with a Huesca that aspired to maintain the category. That goalkeeper was grateful to Osasuna, Oporto, Granada and Villarreal, adding more than 250 games in the elite, until he returned to the Huesca team now seeking permanence.

The good relations between Huesca and Villarreal have once again been fruitful and the player changes the yellow team for Barça. The 33-year-old goalkeeper had one more year on his contract and will now compete for a position with Álvaro Fernández and Antonio Valera. A commitment to experience in a key position which was the Achilles heel in the season in which the Alto-Aragonese debuted in First.
