Andrea Petkovic and Mayar Sherif will play the final in Cluj-Napoca

The German Andrea Petkovic, second-seeded, and Egyptian Mayar Sherif will meet this Sunday in the final of the Cluj-Napoca tournament (Romania).

Petkovic, who comes from being finalist in the Hamburg tournament, defeated Aleksandra Krunic in the semi-finals, by 6-4 and 6-2.

For its part, Sherif, who will play her first final, defeated the Romanian Mihaela Burzanescu, 7-6 (1) and 6-4. This final will be an unprecedented duel, since they have never met before.
