Andrea Benítez, pioneer of professional skateboarding

More than 10 years ago, in Algeciras, a city where very few skated, Andrea decided to try her luck with skateboarding. Who lent him the skate had no choice but to give it to him by checking, surprised, how good this sport was given to a girl who until then had never climbed on one.

Today she is one of the best skaters in the world, occupies most of her time training and organizes to also study her electrical engineering career, rehearse with Blue Avocados, the musical group she founded in California, design her jewelry collection and devote himself to photography when all other occupations allow it. This year will be the first Spanish skater to represent this sport in some Olympic Games.
