Ana Rosa explains why Lequio passes on her granddaughter: “It's Ana's decision and he doesn't want to participate”

The little girl's baptism Ana Lequio continues to make headlines, especially the absence of Alessandro Lequio. He excused himself this Monday, ensuring that the celebration is not for him and his friend. Ana Rose has given him a cable since TardeAR: “We have to respect that everyone does things their own way,” he said.

The presenter has made it clear that this is a “very delicate” issue and that it is “a decision by Obregón in which Lequio did not want to participate”. Ana Rosa does not believe that there are 'second readings' in the attitude of the Italian count and she advocates a purely sentimental issue: “Ana has been terrible and this girl has given her back the will to live, but maybe for Alessandro the fact that there is a child genetically her son's is painful. We don't know how each person manages it.”.

It must be remembered that little Anita is the result of a surrogate womb conceived with the semen of Aless Lequio, who died in 2020 from cancer. Her mother assured that she was thus fulfilling her son's last wish, to be a biological father, something that Alessandro himself has never wanted to confirm. Sources close to Lequio insist on reiterating that, except for the testimony of Ana Obregón, nothing proves that the little girl is in fact Aless's biological daughter.

The death of Aless Lequio left his parents completely devastated. Alessandro has taken refuge in his work and his family (his wife, María Palacios, and his daughter Ginevra), while Ana Obregón has concentrated on fulfilling the three last wishes of her deceased son: creating a foundation in his name, publishing a book and bring offspring into the world. The presenter, whom her own father nicknamed “Antoñita la Fantástica”, stated in public and completely seriously that her son called her on her cell phone after he died: “We arrived at a meal, I put my phone on the table and suddenly starts ringing. The call was from Aless. I didn't understand anything, because her phone was in a drawer. So I said, 'This is a sign'.
