Amber Heard, pregnant with her second child after her judicial ordeal with Johnny Depp: she awaits him in Madrid

Amber Heard, at 38, is expecting her second child: “It’s still quite early in the pregnancy, so you’ll understand that we don’t want to go into too many details at this stage. Suffice it to say that Amber is delighted both for herself and by Oonagh Paige”, has confirmed a source close to the interpreter of Aquaman in People.

Remember that the actress is already the mother of Oonagh Paige, 3 and a half years old, whom she welcomed on April 8, 2021. When she revealed the news of Oonagh three months after her birth, Heard wrote on Instagram that she had “decided she wanted to have a child” four years earlier and “wanted to do it on her own terms.”

“I now realize how radical it is for us as women to think about one of the most fundamental parts of our destiny in this way,” she wrote at the time. “I hope we get to a point where it’s normalized to not want a ring to have a crib.” At the moment, the actress has not communicated details, and we do not know the sex of her second child.

Without someone by her side to be a mother by her own decision, Heard was previously married to Johnny Depp, with whom she was involved in one of the most high-profile trials in Hollywood. After the ordeal she went through in court, the actress moved to Madrid, away from the media pressure she found on the other side of the pond.

Depp and Heard, who separated in 2016 after being married for just over a year, closed their respective defamation lawsuits in 2022 with a resolution against them that cost the artist one million dollars. “My life as I knew it was destroyed,” she declared, who also sold her Los Angeles home to cover legal expenses. “I have lost faith in the American legal system, where my testimony served as fodder for social media,” he added.

The high-profile Depp-Heard divorce had a first legal battle, in which the actress sued the protagonist of Pirates of the Caribbean for gender violence. It was a London court that ruled in favor of Heard. However, months later, a Fairfax court (in Virginia) ruled in favor of the interpreter.
