Atlético de Madrid and Amber Group, the leading global digital asset management platform, announced an agreement on Monday whereby Amber Group becomes the main sponsor of the mattress club for the next five seasons, the Madrid-based entity reports in a statement. .
In this way, from the 2022-23 academic year Amber Group will become Atlético de Madrid’s ‘Official Wealth and Digital Lifestyle Partner’ in line with the company’s objective of responsibly democratizing access to innovative financial tools thanks to its global reach of soccer.
‘WhaleFin’, Amber Group’s reference platform aimed at offering tools to private investors, will increase its brand exposure by appearing on the front of the Atlético men’s first team jersey.
WhaleFin is thus positioned as a preferential gateway to digital asset management for Atlético de Madrid fans. Thanks to this agreement, Amber Group will have exclusive rights to create ‘Atletiverse’, a virtual island within Openverse, the company’s 3.0 platform for creators, brands and businesses.
In this new space, fans will be able to enjoy unique experiences that will allow them to interact with fans from all over the world, as well as discover the usefulness of digital assets in both the virtual and real worlds.
Additionally, the Atlético de Madrid Foundation will work with the Amber Group to launch sustainability and corporate social responsibility initiatives. In addition, WhaleFin will support the athletic foundation in the implementation of local campaigns for education in sustainability and conservation, among others.
