MADRID, 21 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The striker of the Spanish team Álvaro Morata assured that he was “flying and perfect” since he joined the national team for the World Cup in Qatar, clearing up any doubt about his physical condition ahead of this Wednesday’s debut against Costa Rica.
“I’m great, I had a ‘substitute’ in the last league game, but from there it was getting here and obviously a friendly match was of no use to me except to take risks. Since I’ve been here I’ve been flying and perfect,” Morata said. after participating this Monday in the presentation of the agreement between the RFEF and ‘3D Factory’.
Next to the forward was Pedri González, who made it clear that he does not feel any more responsibility for being considered one of the stars by the organizers who have posted a photo of him in the center of Doha. “For me, the whole team has the backpack. I don’t feel like a star for being on a poster, I focus on playing and being calm, contributing my best and doing what the coach asks me to do,” he settled.
For his part, the president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), Luis Rubiales, was asked about the future of coach Luis Enrique Martínez and if there was a name in the metaverse. “I have no news, you have to wait for the World Cup to finish, but I’m happy with the flesh and blood one,” he said with a smile.
