Álvaro Djaló out for Athletic for the start of LaLiga

MADRID, 8 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Athletic Club striker Álvaro Djaló will be out for the Basque team during the start of the EA Sports LaLiga 2024-2025 due to a muscle injury suffered in the friendly match played this Wednesday against English side Aston Villa, according to a statement.

“The forward has suffered a mild-moderate muscle injury in the rectus femoris muscle of his left leg,” the Basque club reported on its website about the new signing this summer. Djaló had to be substituted during the friendly match played this Wednesday in Birmingham against Unai Emery’s Aston Villa, which ended in victory for the English team.
