Álvaro Cervera: “Cádiz for me is a lot; it is the present and the future “

The representative agency of Alvaro Cervera, You First Sports, has published a short interview with the coach of the Cadiz, who is sincere and speaks from his famous motto “The fight is not negotiated”, his experience as a footballer, Cádiz and the city and golf, his hobby.

Cervera has managed to instill in the dressing room his most competitive spirit based on the motto “The fight is not negotiated.”, a few words that even occupy a great place in the dressing room of the Cádiz sports city so that they always keep it in mind. “The motto is pretty. Without attracting much attention, when you hear it, it is only five words, but it can be used for anything, to face any problem or adversity “.

As for Cádiz, his current city, the coach only has good words. “Cádiz for me is a lot. It's the present and I would say the future. I know what the life of the coach is, it is very changeable, but my life has a place in Cádiz because of the way people are, because of how I have integrated myself, because of the friends I have made, because I like this city … I am very happy”.

Álvaro Cervera focuses on the present: “Now I am a coach who knows what his job is and who tries to do his best. I am confident and happy with my work”. And as for the team's historic victory in Madrid, the coach affirms that “I don't know if it's an achievement to beat Madrid at home, but it is a success.”

Regarding his past as a footballer, the coach is clear that “it would have been better at this time, there is more knowledge of everything. I am proud, I have trained since fry and I have gone through all the categories ”.

Golf is the sport that Cervera practices as a hobby, although he admits that he did not always like it: “It never appealed to me. I did not see it competitive and it did not attract my attention. Once I dedicate myself to training I get closer to golf because of the feeling of tranquility it gives you ”.

In addition, he is clear that soccer and golf have nothing in common, and that is why he likes it. “Football is a group fight to beat an opponent, golf is an individual fight to beat no one but a field which is always there. Soccer and golf are nothing alike. We like those of us who have dedicated ourselves to football for the tranquility ”.
