Almirón: “It was a high-voltage round trip game”

The Argentine coach of Elche, Jorge Almirón, said that the match against Celta (1-1) was open and high-voltage and that either team could win.

“We wanted to recover from the bad image of last day, but we played with too much momentum,” said the Argentine, who believes that Elche could win if they had chosen better attacking options in the last minutes.

“At the start of the game I saw it clear because we had spaces, but we have rushed and accelerated, losing many balls. We wanted to get there fast and Celta played well between the lines ”, explained Almirón, who admitted that goalkeeper Edgar Badía had an outstanding performance and saved his team with several saves.

“I have the feeling that the spaces at the end could be better used,” explained the coach, who admitted that the last minutes were harsh and controversial “with everyone screaming” on the pitch.
