Alexis Sánchez and Chris Smalling will continue at Inter and Roma, respectively. Both will be able to conclude the course with their current teams after an agreement has been reached with Manchester United to extend their transfers, which ended on June 30.
After the months of stoppage forced by the pandemic, the English club has announced the extension of the loan of the English central in Rome until the beginning of August, when the Italian Serie A will end. Meanwhile, the extension of Alexis' loan is for the end of the first week of August, when Inter will have to play their tie against Getafe in the Europa League.
Depending on the result, the transfer could be further extended, otherwise, if Inter is eliminated, Alexis will have to return to Mancunian discipline.
