Alexandra Shai Gilgeous-drops 31 points TRIPLE-DOUBLE

In the course of Sunday’s 118-112 victory over the Trail Blazers, Gilgeous-Alexander scored 31 points (9-17 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 13-15 FT), two rebounds, an assist, and four steals in 35 minutes of play.

Gilgeous-Alexander easily reached the charity stripe and had a productive shooting night. In his ten March outings, he has attempted substantially free throws four times. Now, eight of Gilgeous-Alexander’s past ten games have seen him score 30 points or more.

The Thunder’s first points during the fourth quarter came via a fadeaway rainbow jumper made by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. Paolo Banchero, a rookie with the Magic, answered by hitting a line-drive 3-pointer.

Although Gilgeous-Alexander does not often start the fourth quarter, Thunder manager Mark Daigneault requested a timeout and pulled Gilgeous-Alexander from the game.

The Thunder hammered Gilgeous-Alexander, who was recovering from a sickness, as hard as they could during Wednesday’s 126-115 loss in Orlando.

Gilgeous-Alexander, who missed Tuesday’s Thunder back-to-back game against the Celtics, scored 33 points. He tied his career record for made free throws after making 17 of 18 foul shots.

According to Josh Giddey, via Andrew Lopez of ESPN, “it’s a spiral effect when your leader appears flustered with lack of control out there.” Guys observe this and take advantage of it.

The Thunder won the game thanks to 32 points from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, 25 of which came in the second half. In the game, Josh Giddey finished with 31 points, 10 assists, and 9 rebounds.

According to Lopez, Giddey stated, “It would have been easier for him to jump out of halftime pressing, attempting to get his game going, instead he let it transpire to him naturally.” He had a difficult first half, but he finished. That only highlights his skill as a player.

Gilgeous-Alexander was being denied as much as he possibly could by the Pelicans, but Giddey stated the Thunder were ready to handle it.

“I believe it was evident to you all that we were prepared to execute double-teams and strive to consistently make them pay,” Giddey remarked.

In Oklahoma City’s penultimate preseason game, four of their five starters scored in double figures, with Giddey leading the way.

While Giddey may not be a great perimeter shooter, he excels at many other areas that affect a player’s fantasy worth.

He finished the previous season outside of the top 100 in 9-cat per-game value, but as of October 16, he had a Yahoo ADP of 59.3.

Regardless of the league format, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is a first-round lock in drafts. In 25 minutes, he concluded Tuesday’s victory with 10 points, five rebounds, five assists, two steals, one block, and two 3-pointers.

In the opening quarter, the Knicks broke the franchise record on points in a quarter, but then let up the most points in a game for the second time in more than two seasons beneath Tom Thibodeau.

In front of 19,812 people in the sold-out Garden late Sunday afternoon, the team lost 145–135 to the Thunder after an electrifying start that was followed by a defensive meltdown.

Following a win, the Knicks (6-7) dropped back below.500 with yet another setback.

For the past seven games, they have alternated between winning and losing, usually defeating opponents they should be losing to and winning against teams they should be winning.

After the Knicks gave up their highest total of points since Dec. 27, 2006, after an Isiah Thomas-coached squad also gave up 145 in a triple-overtime victory over the Pistons, Thibodeau remarked, “There was no resistance.”

They had not conceded as much as 145 in overtime since their December 8, 1979, defeat over the Kansas City Kings, 145-129. Since losing 148-143 to the Chicago Bulls in triple overtime on March 24, 1979, the Knicks have not allowed up an additional point in a game.
