The Vuelta Ciclista a Lanzarote will have an exceptional participation after the confirmation of Alejandro Valverde, who will join Alberto Contador as the main figures of the cycle tour. The 2017 road world champion has confirmed that he will be at the starting line on September 28.
The first edition of the test, organized by the Club La Santa and the Cabildo of Lanzarote, will tour the seven municipalities of the island: Arrecife, Haría, Teguise, Tías, Tinajo, San Bartolomé and Yaiza.
