MADRID, 23 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Spanish power forward Santi Aldama returned to the bench in the defeat (109-113) of the Memphis Grizzlies against the Sacramento Kings, a match in which the canary completed the fewest minutes on the track of the season, with less prominence from the shown to date.
However, the Spaniard contributed 7 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals and 1 block -level, against Keegan Murray-, getting the most out of his performance with those from Tennessee. The canary is being hurt by the strong return of Jaren Jackson Jr., Taylor Jenkins’ favorite ‘four’, who finished the night with 22 points and 5 blocks in 27 minutes.
The best of the locals was the brilliant Ja Morant, who returned after a game absent, scoring 34 points, to which he added 7 rebounds and 6 assists, which were ‘useless’. The Grizzlies had the chance to turn it around with five seconds remaining (108-109), but the Tennessees missed their two free throws that would have tied the game.
Thus, Sacramento achieved its seventh consecutive victory, a balance that they had not achieved since 2004. However, its 113 points is the lowest score of this positive dynamic, in which they had not fallen from 120 points. The best of the Californians were De’Aaron Fox with 32 points and 8 rebounds and Harrison Barnes (26).
