Alcoyano wins after thrashing 0-3 at the Llagostera stadium

Alcoyano showed its best version after beating Llagostera 0-3 away from home during the match played at the Camp d’Esports Municipal de Llagostera this Saturday. Llagostera wanted to improve their situation in the tournament after losing the last match against Algeciras by a score of 0-1. Regarding the away team, Alcoyano won their last two games of the competition against RM Castilla at home and Linense at home, by 1-2 and 1-0 respectively. After the result obtained, the Llagosterense team is nineteenth, while Alcoyano is fifth after the end of the match.

During the first half of the match none of the players managed to score a goal, so during the first 45 minutes the score did not move from the initial 0-0.

The second period started in an unbeatable way for the eleven from Alcoyano, who premiered their luminous goal with a goal from Juanan moments after the resumption of the game, specifically in the 50th minute. After this, a new opportunity allowed Alcoyano to increase the score, increasing distances thanks to Angel López’s goal in the 93rd minute. After a new move, the visiting team’s score increased, which distanced itself by establishing a 0-3 goal thanks to a goal from Dani Vega in the 94th minute, during extra time that the referee decided to add of the meeting, thus ending the confrontation with a final result of 0-3.

The referee showed a yellow card to Alcoyano (Tony Gabarre), while the local team saw none.

With this good display, Alcoyano rises to 50 points in the First RFEF and remains in fifth place in the standings, in the playoff spot for promotion to the Second Division. For its part, Llagostera remains with 25 points with which it faced the thirty-third day.

The next day the team will play away from home against At. Sanluqueño, while Alcoyano will face Albacete at home.
