Alcaraz will play in Vienna and the Paris Masters before the NextGen ATP Finals

The Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, 18 years old, who this week appears in position 42 of the world ranking, He will return to competition at the Erste Bank Open, which will be held in Vienna from October 25 to 31, then will play the Rolex Paris Masters, in the French capital, before closing the year at the Next Gen ATP Finals in the Italian city of Milan.

The Murcian tennis player, who in his last game fell to Scotsman Andy Murray, number 1 of the ATP in 2016, in his debut at the Master 1,000 in Indian Wells, has lost four places, as collected this Monday in the international list that continues to lead the Serbian Novak Djokovic.

The Murcian can still progress and for this he has several opportunities in top-level tournaments. The most immediate will be the one that will take place in Austria, an ATP 500, and then it will go to Paris to compete in a Master 1,000 from the beginning of November and to Milan to compete from 9 to 13 of that month against the best young tennis players in the world, a tournament for those under 21 years of age and in which they have already secured their presence by ranking.

Juan Carlos Ferrero’s pupil was a quarter-finalist at the United States Open and winner of the ATP 250 in Umag (Croatia).
