Albacete remains with the three points against Alcoyano (2-0)

Albacete added three points to their locker after winning 2-0 against Alcoyano this Saturday at Carlos Belmonte. Albacete arrived with the intention of increasing their score after drawing 2-2 in the last duel held against At. Sanluqueño. On the part of the visiting team, Alcoyano won in their last two matches of the competition against Cornellà in their fiefdom and FC Andorra away from home, by 2-0 and 1-2 respectively. With this defeat, the Alcoyan team was placed in fourth position after the end of the game, while Albacete is second.

The match started in a positive way for Albacete, who took the opportunity to open the scoring with a goal from Rubén Martínez, ending the first period with the result 1-0.

In the second half, luck came for the local team, who put more land in between with a goal from Fuster’s penalty spot in the 77th minute, concluding the confrontation with a final score of 2-0.

The Albacete coach, Rubén de la Barrera, gave entry to the field to Eric Montes, Gómez, Arasa and Jordi Sánchez to replace Dani González, Rubén Martínez, Fuster and Sergi García, while on the part of Alcoyano, Vicente Parras replaced Dani Vega, Imanol García, Angel López and Javi Garcia by Fran Miranda, Antón, Escudero and Pablo Carbonell.

In the match there were a total of five yellow cards only for the Alcoy team. Specifically, the referee showed five yellow cards to Antón, Ángel Sánchez, Lillo Castellano, Pablo Carbonell and Primi.

With 29 points, Rubén de la Barrera’s Albacete ranked second in the general table at the end of the match, in the playoff spot for promotion to the Second Division, while the team led by Vicente Parras ranked fourth with 24 points, also with a playoff spot for promotion to Second Division.

On the following day Rubén de la Barrera’s team will face UCAM Murcia, while Vicente Parras’s Alcoyano will face Llagostera.
