Albacete beats UCAM Murcia 3-1 and takes all three points

Albacete won 3-1 against UCAM Murcia during the match held this Friday at the Carlos Belmonte. Albacete entered the game with the intention of adding more points to their locker after drawing 0-0 in the last game played against Algeciras. On the visitors’ side, UCAM Murcia drew a one-one draw against At. Sanluqueño, adding a point in the last game played in the competition. After the result obtained, the local team was the leader of the First RFEF, while UCAM Murcia was in eighteenth place at the end of the match.

The first team to score was Albacete, who took advantage of the play to open the scoring through a goal by Rubén Martínez in the 9th minute. The Albacete team added again, who distanced themselves with a goal by Kike Márquez in the 35th minute After this, the first part concluded with a score of 2-0.

After the break, in the second half the goal came for the Murcian team, which reduced differences thanks to a goal from Rubén Mesa in the 68th minute. But later the local team increased the score through another goal from Rubén Martínez, who managed in this way a double shortly before the end, specifically in 85, thus ending the match with a result of 3-1 on the scoreboard.

In the chapter on substitutions, the Albacete footballers who entered the match were Fran Álvarez and Jordi Sánchez replacing Kike Márquez and Riki Rodríguez, while the UCAM Murcia substitutions were Alberto Fernández, Mario Abenza and Isi Ros, who entered to replace Liberto, Fullana and Josema.

The referee gave Djetei a yellow card from the local team and Caro from the Murcian team.

Rubén de la Barrera’s Albacete leads the tournament with 56 points, occupying a place for direct promotion to the Second Division, while the team led by Salva Ballesta was in eighteenth place with 28 points.

Albacete will face Sabadell the next day and UCAM Murcia will play Betis Deportivo.
