Alaba will charge what Ramos

Real Madrid has already closed the first incorporation for next season: David Alaba. The contract has not been officially announced nor is the contract signed yet, but it is a matter of time before it is so and for Madrid to communicate it publicly. The Austrian will arrive for free from Bayern Munich, with whom he refused to renew with the intention of changing the scene and improving his contractual situation. And in Madrid he will, clearly.

As reported through his Twitter account by journalist Fabrizio Romano, the salary agreed between Madrid and Alaba is 12 million net per season, which will make him one of the highest paid defenders in Europe. The Austrian is a strategic signing for Real Madrid because of his age (he is about to turn 29 years old) and because of his versatility: he can play as a central, left-back and midfielder, a vital three-in-one in view of how is coming out this season in the injury section.

With that salary, Alaba would be equated with the highest paid defender of the white squad: captain Sergio Ramos, which receives a salary of around 12.5 million net per course. He would enter the second step of the Madrid salary scale directly, surpassed only by Bale and Hazard, who charge an amount close to 15 million net per year.

The renewal of the Sevillian continues to stop: Ramos insists on signing a contract of at least two seasons to continue at Real Madrid while the club want him to renew year after year, since he is already 35 years old and they do not want to take risks with a such a high salary. The question of the salary reduction seems minor at the moment: if Madrid agrees to give Ramos two years, there will be an agreement. If not, he will leave Madrid this summer and the club already knows where to allocate those 12 million net that it pays per year to Beds …
