Al Thumama Stadium Nearly Completed for FIFA Qatar 2022

The stadium was designed in the shape of Al Keffiyeh, which is a traditional headdress worn by men from the gulf, which represents a main part of the traditional dress in that area of ​​the Near East, as well as It is a symbol of dignity and self-esteem.

Also in the photos it stands out that the stadium stands have been completed after installing the fans' seats, since the capacity of the venue is 40,000 seats, which will be reduced by half after the event, to be donated to other developing countries . Due to the provisions of the Supreme Committee, it will be tailor-made in order to adapt to the local needs of society, as well as to provide high-quality infrastructure in developing countries.

The venue is equipped by an Aspetar office, sports medicine and orthopedic hospital, as well as a modern hotel in the upper parts of the stadium.

The area around the stadium will become a community center, as it will have included sports such as handball, volleyball, basketball, swimming.

There will also be running tracks, and bike lanes, to make it an optimal destination for athletes in general in the city of Doha.
