Ainhoa Arteta unleashes an earthquake of statements against her ex, Matías Urrea: “An evil being”

The soprano is back. After a very difficult physical and vocal recovery that has lasted two long years, Ainhoa Arteta She reunites with her audience on stage and leaves behind one of the most complicated times of her life: her stay in the hospital for a kidney infection that almost cost her her life and the separation from her last husband, her fourth.

The lyrical singer has spoken at length on Antena 3 about both things this Tuesday. Of course, in very different terms: from the first she has learned great life lessons; of the second, only deep regret. “I don't regret any of the three marriages I had, the fourth was not a marriage, but I do regret having met a tremendously evil and tremendously evil person in my life. But hey, I don't blame anyone. I chose him me, but I would love to rewrite that story”. The artist did not want to give names but it was more than evident who she was referring to: “I don't want to name him, but if I have been there it is because I had to learn something. You learn from the hits, you don't learn from the glories and the triumphs.”

Ainhoa and Matias Urrea, a military man by profession, got married in Cádiz in 2019 (it was later discovered that they never formalized the papers). Two years later, the announcement of the separation came and a media war that was fueled by cross accusations: there was talk of blackmail, compromised images, an unreturned loan… “I asked for some time and that's when everything went wrong,” she assured. “It was not a good experience”.

“I have learned that we do not die”

Ainhoa made the decision to break up with Urrea fresh out of a coma. She was admitted to the hospital for a kidney infection that led to septicemia. A reaction to penicillin caused multiple organ failure that almost ended her life: “I remember seeing the guard crying and my people coming dressed in black to say goodbye. They gave me three hours to live”. Fortunately, he overcame it: “I have learned that we do not die. The body dies. It is true that the body is what some call it soul, others call it conscience, others call it spirit, each one is his own religion, as he want to call. But the body dies, which is what our energy has adopted to be in this stage, but the soul does not die.”

The consequences of that experience were not few: he lost three phalanges and a vocal cord was damaged. She is now fully recovered and ready to continue enjoying life: “I love my children, my father and my friends with all my soul.” In fact, her eldest daughter wanted to surprise her in YAS: “I love you so much, mom,” Sarah said through tears. Ainhoa has shared a surprising anecdote: “I woke up from a coma the same day my daughter sent me a message on my cell phone saying 'Mom, don't die, I can't live without you.'”

Arteta has taken advantage of the moving story to put another veiled joke on who, at that time, was still her 'husband': “I saw it later, because my mobile phone was kidnapped during the entire time I was in the ICU. I recovered it thanks to my friends”.
