Agreement reached between James Rodríguez and Al-Rayyan of Qatar

Qatar's Al-Rayyan is close to announcing the signing of James Rodríguez for this season. The Colombian player, who arrived in that country 3 days ago, has closed an agreement with the club to join the squad led by Frenchman Laurent Blanc.

The international media beIN SPORTS confirms the signing of James by the Qatari team and points out that “it will be announced in a few hours.” With this hiring, it is intended that Al-Rayyan “recover his shine and bet on titles,” the article indicates.

Fabrizio Romano, an Italian journalist specialized in the transfer market, also takes the agreement between both parties for granted, adding that the footballer passed the medical tests without problems. “James is now ready to leave European football,” he wrote on his Twitter account.

Al-Rayyan, a team that has in its record 8 league titles, has published a 16-second expectation video on their social networks and that has in the heading the word 'Soon' (soon).

With this move, Everton gets rid of James' millionaire salary to be able to hire in the next winter market. In addition, the footballer did not enter into the plans of coach Rafa Benítez, who since his arrival in summer made it clear that he did not have him.
