Ramírez.

The princely family agreed to come in uniform: all dressed in sequins for the ladies and tuxedos for the gentlemen. Prince Albert II, Princess Charlene and Princess Caroline presided over the evening. They were accompanied by Charlotte Casiraghi, Pierre Casiraghi and his wife Beatrice Borromeo, as well as Princess Alexandra of Hanover, who arrived first on the red carpet. Stéphane Bern and his partner Yori Bailleres or Gloria Gaynor, great disco diva, delighted the guests. The choreographer Sadeck Berrabah and his 48 dancers opened for Gloria Gaynor, animating the dance floor. She was expected for the end of the show and the main protagonist. The show also featured the participation of Shangela and Chad Michaels, two drag queens from the 80s who performed songs by Donna Summer and Cher. Let us remember that beyond the glamor of an event that many consider to be in decline, the Rose Ball is above all a charitable event. Behind the shine, this annual meeting is above all a solidarity event organized by the Princess Grace Foundation. Founded and conceived in 1954 by Grace Kelly, the Rose Ball (as it is known in English) is today presided over by her daughter, Princess Caroline of Hanover. The profits from the evening’s dinners, and all the money raised, support humanitarian programs in favor of children and pediatric research, a unique and priority objective.

This 68th edition, dedicated to the disco era of the 70s and 80s, the Grimaldi family included Charléne after ten years of absence in one of their most important dates. Christian Louboutin, who already surprised last year with the Bollywood theme, has not disappointed. The Parisian designer has transported the privileged attendees to the years of Disco music, and the Salle des Étoiles has sparkled with disco balls.
