The Aston Villa is going all out in this summer market. After leaving the incorporation of Emiliano Buendía seen for sentencing, the ‘villains’ now go all out to sign James Ward-Prowse.
Villa are hoping to convince Southampton to part with the 26-year-old English international, who scored one of England's five goals in the match against San Marino in March.
Much more advanced is the signing of Buendía. The 24-year-old Argentine midfielder from Norich will arrive after paying 35 million euros plus variable, adding creativity to Dean Smith's team.
The formalities are expected to be completed in the next 48 hours after the player passed a medical examination in Argentina, where he meets the national team.
Buendía was also closely followed by Arsenal, however he will become the most expensive signing in Villa's history, surpassing that of Ollie Watkins last season (33 million euros).
