AFE supports David Villa and remembers the presumption of innocence

The Association of Spanish Soccer Players (AFE) transferred its support to David Villa and made himself available, in addition to remembering the right to the presumption of innocence of any citizen, after accusations of harassment made against the Spanish soccer player by a former worker of the New York City team.

“Given the information that appeared in the last few hours, AFE makes itself available to David Villa for whatever he needs. We transfer our support to him and remember that the presumption of innocence is a fundamental right for any citizen,” the union said in a message in social networks.

The former Asturian soccer player assured EFE yesterday that the accusations of harassment made against him on Twitter by a former worker of the New York team, in which he played during his time in Major League Soccer, are “totally false” and that he trusts that “he clarify soon and you can tell the truth. “
